The salary statistics on this page are based on two sources:
- LønRadar data: We continuously collect data via payslip uploads and self-reporting. All contributions are verified before they are included in the statistics.
- PROSA Salary Statistics 2026: External reference data from the Danish trade union PROSA, covering IT professionals east and west of the Great Belt.
All salary figures are given as monthly salary in DKK (base salary + pension). Data is updated continuously as new contributions are received. How we verify the data.
How our numbers differ from Statistics Denmark
Statistics Denmark publishes salary data at the 4-digit DISCO-08 level, even though companies report at 6-digit. That means a CEO and a deputy director land in the same figure. In DISCO 1120 (top corporate management) the upper quartile earns 2.1 times the lower - 62,299 DKK/month at the bottom against 132,784 DKK/month at the top (LONS20 2024, n approx. 15,400). An average across a cell that broad tells you nothing about what your role is worth.
LønRadar groups pay by role, region and experience instead. You compare yourself with people doing your job, not with the entire pay band of a four-digit job code.
