What the new rules say

The EU Pay Transparency Directive changes the way Danish companies recruit.

1

Specific salary or range - before the first interview

The candidate must be informed of the starting salary or salary range before the first interview - for example directly in the job posting. A generic phrase like "salary based on qualifications" is not sufficient.

2

Applies to all employers

The requirement to disclose salary in job postings covers all companies regardless of size - also when a recruitment agency advertises on your behalf.

3

Prohibited to ask about current salary

You may no longer base the offer on the candidate's salary history. You must know the market yourself.

From role to finished salary range in 2 minutes

1

Choose the role

Select from 20+ IT roles and narrow down by level, region, industry, and company size.

2

Get the range

The generator calculates a market-based interval with P25, median, and P75 - always based on verified payslips, never on thin data.

3

Into the posting

Copy the range directly into the job posting. Filters, data foundation, and calculation timestamp are saved as documentation.

Why a documented range pays off

44% of candidates skip job postings without salary. From January 2027 the question is not whether you disclose the salary - but whether the number holds up.

Compliance without a consultant invoice

Meet the directive's requirements with a tool you control yourself - not an expensive one-off project that is outdated by the next posting.

More qualified applications

70% of companies that disclose salary in the posting receive more applications - and 66% report higher quality. You also avoid processes that fall apart on pay at the last stage.

Avoid losing candidates

Set the range too low and the best candidates never apply. Set it too high and expectations slip. Market data hits the right number first time.

An answer you can stand behind

The directive reverses the burden of proof in equal pay cases: if you cannot document how the salary was set, you must prove there was no discrimination. Each range is saved with filters, data foundation, and calculation timestamp.
